Bears Fall to #60 Columbia, 5-2

PROVIDENCE, RI – The Brown women's tennis team (6-10, 0-3) dropped a 5-2 decision to #60 Columbia on Saturday afternoon at the Bears' outdoor tennis courts. Brown won the doubles point, but the Lions posted wins in five of the six singles matches to claim the victory. Sophomore Nikita Uberoi (Boca Raton, FL) won at #4 singles, earning Brown's lone singles win.

In doubles action, senior Misia Krasowski (Deerfield, IL) and freshman Hannah Camhi (Syosset, NY) claimed an 8-4 win at #1 doubles, while Uberoi and freshman Ammu Mandalap (Princeton Junction, NJ) posted an 8-6 win at #2. The match at #3 doubles was not finished.

Brown continues action tomorrow afternoon when it hosts Cornell in a 12:00 noon match.
