Caldwell Wins "E" Singles Flight at USTA NTC Women's Invitational

FLUSHING, NY - Freshman Ariel Caldwell (Atlanta, GA) claimed a three-set win over Ivy foe Ioana Alecsiu (Columbia) to claim the "E" singles championship at the 2010 USTA NTC Women's Collegiate Invitational. Caldwell was one of four Bears playing in the finals of their respective flights, as senior Bianca Aboubakare (Orange, CA), sophomore Misia Krasowski (Deerfield, IL), and freshman Maxine Thomas (Los Angeles, CA) were also competing in Monday's finals.
