Ellis Wins H Singles Flight and Combines with Sorokko to Claim C Doubles Flight at USTA BJK NTC Women's College Invitational

FLUSHING, NY - Senior Emily Ellis (Fort Worth, TX) led the Bears over the weekend, winning all eight of her matches, at the USTA BJK NTC Women's College Invitational, claiming both the H Singles Flight and the C Doubles Flight with senior Kathrin Sorokko (Douglaston, NY). Brown also won the D Doubles Flight, as the team of sophomore Julie Flanzer (Highland Park, IL) and junior Marisa Schonfeld (Washington, DC) won all four of their matches to take that title. Flanzer was also a finalist in the E Singles Flight, falling to third-seeded Tana Illova, of NC State, in the final match.
