Bears' Swimming & Diving Teams Recognized for Academic Success

Providence, RI - Both of Brown's swimming and diving teams were recognized in the top-15 in the country for spring semester academic success by the CSCAA. Combined the men's and women's team is ranked 2nd nationally, based on spring GPAs, with the men's team coming in fifth and the women's team coming in 11th.

Overall, the Bears are behind only Ivy-foe Dartmouth, which earned the top combined ranking. On the women's side, 111 Division I programs were recognized, with Brown coming in 11th, second among the Ivy League schools behind Dartmouth, with a 3.485 GPA. On the men's side, 78 Division I programs were recognized, with Brown coming in fifth, second among the Ivy League schools behind Dartmouth, with a 3.390 GPA.
