Auburn, AL - Brown University junior Liz Daniels (Pittsburgh, PA), a First Team All-Ivy selection in three individual events, competed at the 2003 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend, capping off a successful season with the Bears.

The 10th ranked swimmer in the 50 free, Daniels placed 17th in the event, missing qualification for the consolation final of the 50 free by one place and four-hundreths of a second. In the 100 free, she claimed a 14th place finish, clocking in at 49.84, a life-time best performance, while earning Honorable Mention All-America status.

The only Ivy Leaguer to place at the Championships, her 14th place finish and All-America recognition also earned three points for the Bears, who finished 40th in the National Team standings.
