Bears Take Third at Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championships

The women's swimming and diving team took third in the 2003 Ivy League Championships with 600.5 points. Princeton won the championship with 799.5 points, while Harvard came in second place with 633 points.

Highlights from the day included junior Lindsay Hoban (Duxbury, MA) taking third in the 200 back (2:02.87) and junior Liz Daniels (Pittsburgh, PA) winning the 100 free (50.08), her third individual gold. Freshman Michelle Oeser (Eliot, ME) took third in that event in a time of 50.82, while junior Emily McCoy (Anchorage, AK) was fourth in a time of 50.93. In the final event of the day, the 400 free relay, the Bears claimed first, as the team of Daniels, McCoy, Hoban, and Oeser won the event in a time of 3:21.74
