Women's Swimming and Diving in Third After Second Day of Ivy League Championships

After the second day of competition at the 2003 Ivy League swimming and diving championships, the Bears are in third place with a team score of 396.50. Princeton is still leading, with 541.50 points, while Harvard is in second place with 402 points.
Junior Liz Daniels (Pittsburgh, PA) took gold in the 100 back with a time of 56.11, while sophomore Jessica Brown (Royalston, MA) took second in a time of 56.31. Junior Lindsay Hoban (Duxbury, MA) finished in fourth with a time of 56.95.
The Bears also took second in the 200 medley relay (1:43.57) and in the 800 free relay (7:28.89), while freshman Bridgette Cahill (Turnersville, NJ) finished in fourth in the 400 IM (4:22.35). Junior Emily McCoy (Anchorage, AK) took third in the 200 free (1:51.05), rounding out Brown's top finishers.
Brown continues action tomorrow in the final day of competition at the Championships with the event finals beginning at 6:00 p.m.
