After two days of competition at the Ivy League Championships held at Harvard, the Bears remain in fourth place with 690.5. Princeton now leads the competition with 902 points. Seniors Liz Daniels (Pittsburgh, PA) and Lindsay Hoban (Duxbury, MA) continue to lead the Bears with top finishes in three events.
In the first event of the day, seventh of the meet, Brown took a second place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with Daniels, and Hoban, sophomore Elizabeth Wong (Santa Monica, CA), and freshman Karly Kopra (Kamuela, HI) leading the way for the Bears.
In the 11th event of the competition, senior Emily McCoy (Anchorage, AK) swam to a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle swimming just 10 seconds out of first.
In the 100-yard back, the Bears took a 1-2 finish with Hoban and Daniels finishing just five seconds apart.
In the last event of the day, Brown took a fourth place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay with McCoy, Daniels, Hoban and freshman Becky Kowalsky keeping the Bears in the top of the competiton.
Swimming will conclude on Saturday with the trials beginning at 11:00 a.m. and the finals at 6:00 p.m.
