Women's Swimming and Divings Falls to Cornell, 166-134

ITHACA, N.Y. – Kate Dillione and Briana Borgolini each broke Teagle Pool records on Saturday, but it wasn't enough as Cornell outlasted the Brown women's swimming and diving team by a 166-134 margin.

"It was a tough loss on both sides, but our men and women competed well today. We had a lot of fast swims and that is very promising as we head into the end of our season," said head coach Peter Brown.

Borgolini scored two victories on Saturday as she placed first in the 200-Yard Breaststroke (2:17.41) and shattered the pool record with a mark of 1:01.90 in the 100-Yard Breaststroke.

In the 200-Yard Freestyle, Dillione notched a win with a time of 1:48.86 before she teamed up with Reia Tong, Paige Gilley, and Emma Lamothe to place first in the 400-Yard Freestyle Relay (3:26.67), another Teague Pool record.

Gina Matsumoto secured victory in the 200-Yard Butterfly, clocking in at 2:01.23 while teammate Caroline Vexler claimed a win in the 200-Yard Individual Medley (2:03.43).

The Bears will return home to the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center next Saturday as play host to Yale at noon.
