PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND – The Brown women's swimming and diving team will begin competition today in the 37th Ivy League Women's Swimming & Diving Championships at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, New Jersey, joining the seven other members of the Ancient Eight to determine the best and brightest swimmers of the league.
The meet will run from Thursday, February 28 to Saturday, March 2, and action each morning will begin at 11:00am with the preliminary heats of the day's events. The finals session will begin every evening at 6:00pm.
Fans who will not be making the trip to Princeton for the event can follow the action live from home. For the first time, IvyLeagueSports.com will provide free live video coverage of the championship's night sessions, and live results will be available for all of the meet's events. Additionally, live results for the meet will be available through the Active Network's Meet Mobile application available as a free download from either iTunes or Google Play. The app provides fans with the ability to view real-time results and splits, as well as heat sheets, final results and team scores, and the download can be accessed through the live stats link on the women's swimming and diving schedule page.
Finally, a full recap of Brown's performances throughout each day of the competition will be posted on brownbears.com at the conclusion of each evening's finals session.
