Brown's women's squash team had its seven match winning streak snapped against Williams (7-2) and Dartmouth (8-1) last weekend, but the Bears got back on the winning track with an 8-1 win over Colby. The Bears also fell to Trinity (8-1) on Tuesday to fall to 8-6 overall.
Sophomore Lillian Rosenthal was unbeaten in four matches for the Bears, earning Brown's only win against Trinity, taking a 3-1 victory at number one. Rosenthal also came up with a victory over Williams, 3-1, Brown's lone win over Dartmouth, 3-0, and Bates.
Sophomore Julie Flygare, playing number six, came up with a 3-0 decision against Williams, and a 3-0 win against Bates. Also winning matches against Bates were freshman Kari Betts, senior Allison Roche, junior Tara Gibbons, junior Alicia Ringel, sophomore Phoebe Anderson, freshman Becky Hurwitz, and freshman Courtney Quick.
