Bears Fall To Harvard, 9-0, In Season Opener

Cambridge, Mass. - Brown dropped its season opening match with Harvard, 9-0, despite some strong performances at the Crimson's home courts.

Senior Charlotte Steele put up a strong fight at number one, before falling to 9-1, 9-4, 9-5 at the top of the lineup. Senior Breck Haynes also put up a strong battle at number two, before falling in three games, 9-2, 9-2, 9-4.

At number five, sophomore Carolyn Tinley fell in three games, but not before taking the final game to 9-6.

The Bears will be back in action again on December 6 and 7 at the Pizzitola Sports Center against Princeton and Penn, respectively.
