Women's Squashers Beat Williams, Fall to Dartmouth

Brown's women's squash team ran its winning streak to nine consecutive matches with a 7-2 victory over Williams at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

Freshman Lillian Rosenthal (Weston, MA) led the way for the Bears with a 3-1 victory at number one. Senior Leslie Mann (Milton, MA) came away with a 3-1 decision at number three, while senior Katherine Esselen (Acton, MA) earned a 3-0 win at number four. The Bears also captured matches at number five with junior Allison Roche (Southborough, MA) winning 3-1, number six with sophomore Alicia Ringel (Brooklyn, NY) coming away with a 3-0 victory, and number seven, with sophomore Tara Gibbons (Minneapolis, MN) taking a 3-2 decision. Sophomore Robin Ried was a 3-0 winner at number nine for the Bears.

Ringel was Brown's only winner against the nationally ranked Dartmouth squad, earning a 3-2 victory at number six, as Brown's winning streak came to an end. The Bears lost their number one player, Lillian Rosenthal, to injury against the Big Green.
