Bears Fall To 3rd-Ranked Trinity, 8-1

Providence, RI - Brown's women's squash team turned in a strong performance against nationally third-ranked Trinity Saturday afternoon before dropping an 8-1 decision at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

Senior Nathalie Pierrepont (Lake Forest, IL) turned in an impressive performance at earning a 9-3, 9-4, 9-7 win at number nine for the Bears' lone victory. Junior Megan Cerullo (Brooklyn, NY) earned a 9-6 win in the first game at number two before dropping a 3-1 decision. Senior Katie Lew (Randolph, NJ) won the first two games of her match at number eight, 9-7, 9-4, before dropping a 3-2 decision.

The Bears will be back in action against Amherst on Tuesday in Amherst, Mass.
