  • Women's Squash Team Announces 2013 Award Winners, 2014 Captains, and the Class of 2017

    The Brown women's squash team wrapped up its season with the Annual Squash Team Banquet at the Faculty Club in Providence. 
 Among several awards presented, the team and coaches recognized Sarah Crosky '13, Lydia Smith '13, Dori Rahbar '14, Sarah Domenick '14, Kathryn Yates '14 and Sarah Beresford '13 for earning CSA Scholar-Athlete Awards.
  • Brown Places 8th At Howe Cup National Championship

    Brown’s women’s squash team stepped up to the A division of the CSA National Team Championship and finished eighth in the nation at the Howe Cup. After dropping 9-0 decisions to #1 Princeton and #5 Yale, the Bears wrapped up their season on Sunday vs. Stanford playing for the 7/8 National ranking.
  • #9 Brown Takes 7-2 WIn Over #8 Dartmouth

    The #9 ranked Brown women’s squash team defeated #8 Dartmouth, 7-2, this past weekend in Hanover in its final regular season match that could have seeding implications for the CSA team championship. Dartmouth only played with five players due to suspensions, forfeiting the other four games to Brown.
  • #2 Harvard Tops #9 Bears, 9-0

    In its last home match of the season, the #9 Brown women’s squash team honored its five seniors by playing with a lot of spirit in a 9-0 loss to #2 Harvard. The seniors are co-captains #3 Sarah Crosky (Williamstown, MA) and #7 Sarah Beresford (Barrington, RI), as well as #9 Lydia Smith (Lake Forest, IL), Kyla Harrington (Rye, NY) and Antonia Libassi (Greenwich, CT).
  • #18 Brown Can't Overcome #3 Harvard, Falls 9-0

    On the eve of snowstorm Nemo, the #18 Brown men’s squash team fell to #3 Harvard, 9 -0. Brown honored their seniors, who were playing their final home match at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion - #2 Eamon O’Connor (Toronto, Ontario, Canada), and co-captains Alex Hsu (New Hope, PA) and Chris Holter (Baltimore, MD).
  • #9 Brown Falls To #5 Yale, 9-0

    Despite a strong performance by several players, the #9 Brown women’s squash team lost its match to #5 Yale, 9-0, at Yale’s Brady Squash Center. There will be no rest for the Bears, returning home on Thursday, February 7, for a re-scheduled match against #2 Harvard at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion.
  • Home Squash Matches Against Harvard Moved To Thursday, February 7

    Due to the impending snowstorm that’s predicted to hit the east coast, the Brown men’s and women’s squash match vs. Harvard has been changed to Thursday, February 7 at the Pizzitola Sports Center’s Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion. The matches will start at 5pm.

    The ninth-ranked Brown women’s squash team took care of business with a 7-2 win over 13-th ranked George Washington and dropped a 9-0 decision to #1 Princeton at the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion Sunday afternoon.
  • Bears Fall To Penn and Stanford

    With the Kate Brodski Squash Pavilion as the backdrop, the Brown women’s squash team fell to Stanford, 9-0, and Penn, 8-1. Senior Sarah Crosky was the lone Brown winner for the Bears against Penn at number four, earning an 11-8,11-6,11-9 victory.
  • #9 Brown Women’s Squash Earns Wins Over Bates And Bowdoin

    The ninth-ranked Brown women’s squash team returned home to the Kate Brodsky Squash Pavilion Sunday afternoon and earned victories over #17 Bowdoin, 9-0, and #15 Bates, 7-2. With the two wins, Brown extends its record to 10-1 overall.
  • Brown Holds Off Williams, 5-4

    In a thrilling match in Williamstown, MA, the Brown women's squash team came away with a hard-fought 5-4 win over Williams College.The ninth-ranked Bears extended their record to 8-1 with the victory over the Ephs.

    The ninth-ranked Brown women’s squash team turned in a solid performance against Amherst Tuesday evening, earning a 9-0 win over Lady Jeffs. Junior Dori Rahbar led the Brown assault with a 3-1 victory at number one.
  • #9 Brown Women's Squash Splits With Columbia and Cornell

    The ninth-ranked Brown women’s squash team split matches with Columbia and Cornell, defeating the Lions, 6-3, at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, Conn., and falling to the Big Red, 9-0, in Ithaca, N.Y.
  • Bears Blank Conn. College and Colby, 9-0

    Brown finished the fall semester with a 4-0 overall record following 9-0 wins over Connecticut College and Colby at the Pizzitola Sports Center.
  • Bears Blank Wellesley and Wesleyan, 9-0
    November 19, 2012
    Brown’s women’s squash team competed at the MIT Round Robin Tournament on Sunday and posted victories over Wesleyan, 9-0, and Wellesley, 9-0. The Bears did not lose a game the entire day.
