Bears Topple Drexel, Fall to Penn, Princeton and Stanford

The 10th ranked Brown women's squash team traveled south to face the Philadelphia schools and Princeton and came away with a 9-0 win over Drexel, before falling to #4 Penn, 8-1, and #5 Princeton, 9-0.

 

Junior Kyla Harrington turned in an outstanding performance at number nine, coming from behind to grab an 11-13, 17-15, 11-4, 11-6 victory over Penn, and then easily handling Drexel, 11-2, 11-1, 11-1.  Junior Sarah Crosky, playing number three, fell in four games to Penn and was a 3-0 winner over Drexel. At number six, Junior Lydia Smith cruised to a 3-0 win over Drexel, and won the first game over Penn, but eventually fell, 3-1.

 

The Bears will be back in action again on Friday, February 10 at Harvard, before returning home to face Dartmouth on Sunday, February 12.
