Brown Names Three to 2002 Softball All Ivy Team

Iudicello and Leonetti were named First Team selections, while Howe earned Second Team honors.

Iudicello led all second baseman in the League with a .305 batting average in League play. Overall, she hit .333 with 10 RBIs and was a perfect seven for seven in the stolen base category. She was also solid in field play, posting a .931 percentage.

Leonetti, a center fielder, hit a .348 this season, including nine doubles and 18 runs scored. She recorded nine RBIs on the season, and had an overall on-base percentage of .438. She was also solid in stolen bases, going seven-for-seven on the season.

First baseman, Cara Howe had a solid hitting year for the Bears, as she led the team in RBIs, with 20, while also hitting three homeruns, a team high. She batted .299 on the season, in 107 at bats. Her fielding was a solid .994 overall.

The Brown Bears finished the season 14-22 overall and 6-8 in the Ivy League, and finished fourth in the League.
