Sophomore Jessica Iwasaki (Cupertino, CA) started at the mound, giving up nine runs in 2.1 innings pitched. The Crimson posted 15 hits to Bruno's six, as the Bears also combined for six errors. But the tough Brown squad fought back in game two, allowing Harvard to just two runs. Michelle Moses (Cooper City, FL) was stellar at the mound, pitching all six innings and allowing just seven hits. On the mound for Harvard was ---- Roberts, who pitched seven innings, allowing Bruno to just three hits and striking out six.
Brown's Kelsey Wilson (Monterey, CA) singled to left field in the fifth tinning, followed by Linnea Anderson's (El Dorado Hills, CA) singled to right. But that was as close as Bruno would come to, as Harvard went on to score its next two runs in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings.
Harvard tallied its first run of the game when Bowers singled to right field to score - Kerper who doubled to left field in the fifth inning. Harvard earned another run in the sixth, after Murphy hit a homerun to centerfield.
