Brown Athletics Announces Katie Flynn Will Not Return as Softball Coach

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown University Athletics Department announced today that Katie Flynn will not return as the head coach of the softball program.

Flynn, who recently concluded her sixth season at the helm of the softball program, compiled a 72-163 overall record since taking over as head coach in 2012. Before coming to Brown, Flynn spent 11 years as the first-ever head coach at James Madison, and previously served as head coach at North Carolina Greensboro (1998-2000) and Colgate (1994-97).

A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
