2012: One of only two players to appear in all 37 games during the season…Started in 32 of the games played during her junior year…Posted a .241 batting average, which was fifth-best on the team…Totaled five runs, 20 hits, three doubles, one homerun and 10 RBIs, while executing five sacrifice bunts, which was the second most on the team…On the field, she made 12 putouts and allowed only one error during the season.

2011:  Started in 37 games in right field and posted 27 hits, seven runs and 16 RBI…Hit one homerun, a three-run homer against Rutgers on March 5, and also had one double, five walks and a .976 fielding percentage.

2010:
 Stepped in right away for the Bears and started in 27 of 32 games during her rookie season, playing in the outfield and as the designated player…Posted a .291 batting average with a .325 on-base percentage…Totaled 23 hits, nine runs and 13 RBI…Combined for three hits against Fairleigh Dickinson  on March 20 and posted two RBI in games against Columbia on April 3, Providence College on April 14 and Bryant on April 27.

Before Brown:
 A three-sport athlete and three-year letter winner as a first baseman for Aragon High School…Named Aragon’s Athlete of the Year as well as her team’s MVP during her senior year…Was the team captain and a first team All-League selection…In 2008, she earned first team Honorable Mention honors…Also a two-time Scholar Athlete award winner.

Personal: Alyssa G. Caplan is the daughter of Russ and Mylene Caplan of San Mateo, California…She has one brother, Brett…Won the Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy award and English Student of the Year award at Aragon High School…Was a National Merit Scholar and a National Philanthropy Day selection…Concentrating in Community Health.
