Freshman Kathryn Moos, of Wayzata, Minnesota, earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors (week ending October 19), following Brown's 3-2 Ivy League victory over Harvard.
Moos, who made her sixth start of the year against Harvard, doubled her season-goal total against the Crimson with two goals. She scored Brown's second goal of the game, at 29:32, giving the Bears a 2-1 lead after Harvard had tied the contest. She added her second goal of the contest with less than five minutes remaining in the game, after Harvard had tied the game again, giving Brown a 3-2 win. Moos is now second on the team in scoring with 10 points.
Under the direction of Head Coach Phil Pincince, the women's soccer team currently has an 8-3-2 record and a 2-2 mark in the Ivy League. The Bears will travel to Ithaca, NY for an 11:00 a.m. contest at Cornell on Saturday, October 25.
