Still in London, the Bears traveled to Portabello Road to shop at this massive flea market, and then onto Buckingham Palace for the changing of the Guard. After lunch they headed off to see the Westham United vs. Sheffield United Match, a scoreless one at that.

After the pro match, the team headed back to the hotel for a quick change and traveled on the tube to the Her Majestics Theatre to see the Phantom of the Opera. They had great seats and a wonderful time. The Bears then headed off to bed with only a few hours to sleep, before departing for Austria.

They woke up at 3:00 AM, and left London at 3:40 for a 6:40 flight to Salzburg, Austria, where they were met by a bus and a new tour guide. In Salzburg, the Bears were treated to a guided audio tour of Salzburg Castle with beautiful panoramic views of the Old Town.

The team ate lunch in downtown Salzburg and had time for some shopping, before heading to their second game. The Bears played TSV Pfersee to a scoreless tie and enjoyed a post-game BBQ with members of the opposing team.

The Bears were up for an early breakfast on Monday, August 18, and then headed to Munich for "Mike's Bike Tour." Their tour guide, Sebastien, was very animated as they peddled through parks, gardens, and historical sites of Munich. The players rated this an A+ event.

After the bike tour, the Bears enjoyed free time for lunch and shopping in Munich before heading back to the hotel for their pre-game meal. Brown won its third game of the trip, defeating Wacker Munich, 3-2. After grabbing a 2-1 lead before halftime with goals from junior Kim Hagner and senior Hayley Sennott, Wacker Munich knotted the contest at 2-2, but sophomore Christine Serdjenian scored the game-winning goal in the closing minutes of the match at Brown improved to 2-0-1 on the trip.
