Women's Soccer Closes Out Season With 1-0 Win at Yale

NEW HAVEN, CT - Freshman Kathryn Moos (Wayzata, MN) scored the only goal of the game with three seconds left in the first half at Brown (10-4-2, 4-3) edged Yale (9-7-1, 2-4-1), 1-0, in an Ivy League game at the Soccer-Lacrosse Stadium.
Moos settled an Amy Baumann (Wyncote, PA) pass and drilled a shot into the lower left corner from 25 yards out. Senior Sarah Gervais made four saves to post her league-leading seventh shutout of the season.
The Bulldogs controlled play for most of the second half and had several scoring chances, but the Bears held on for the 1-0 victory, getting outshot 16-13 overall and 10-4 in the final 45 minutes.
The Bears close out the 2003 season with a 10-4-2 record and a 4-3 (third place) Ivy League mark, finishing they first winning season since 2000, including a perfect 7-0 record in road games.
