BOSTON, MA - Boston College (10-8-1) scored two unanswered goals in the first half en route to a 2-1 victory over visiting Brown (3-9-1) in a Northeast Regional Women's Soccer Contest at Boston College on Wednesday afternoon.

With just 16:37 remaining in the first half, the Eagles scored the first goal of the game to take a 1-0 lead and tallied what proved to be the game-winner 11:33 later to head into the second half leading 2-0.

However, with 1:45 expired in the second half, junior Laura Iden (Kennilworth, NJ) scored her first goal of the season to bring the Bears to within one, but they could get no closer in the remaining 43 minutes.

Sophomore Sarah Gervais (Harrisville, RI) played the entire game and made three saves for the Bears, who continue action on Sunday when they travel to Yale for an Ivy match at 2:00 p.m.
