PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's soccer team closes out its 2013 regular season schedule with a home-and-home set against Yale beginning Friday night at Reese Stadium in New Haven, Conn. The Bears battle the Bulldogs on Friday night in conference action before returning home for a non-conference rematch on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT
Haley Cooper's goal in the second minute stood up as Penn defeated the Bears 1-0 last Saturday at Stevenson Field. MC Barrett (Ithaca, N.Y.) and Amber Bledsoe (Cincinnati, Ohio) combined to make five saves in the defeat. Kiersten Berg (Salt Lake City, Utah), Mika Siegelman (Piedmont, Calif.), and Sydney Calas (Bethesda, Md.) each recorded a shot on goal for the Bears.
EIGHT SENIORS TO BE HONORED ON SUNDAY
The team will hold its Senior Day ceremony before the game on Sunday. MC Barrett, Kiersten Berg, Amber Bledsoe, Alison Mullin (Boulder, Colo.), Louisa Pitney (Washington, D.C.), Mika Siegelman, Maddie Weiner (Portland, Ore.), and Emily Wingrove (Westwood, Mass.) will all be honored for their contributions to the program.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale enters this weekend's series coming off a 3-1 loss at Columbia last Saturday. Junior forward Melissa Gavin's 10 markers this season are good for second place in the Ivy League. Elise Wilcox and Rachel Ames have shared time in goal this season with each playing in over 500 minutes of action for Head Coach Rudy Meredith's squad.
JOCKEYING FOR POSITION
With a Penn loss and Brown win this weekend, the Bears can move into a second place tie in the Ivy League standings.
MULLIN NAMED TO COSIDA/CAPITAL ONE ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT FIRST TEAM
Senior back Alison Mullin (Boulder, Colo.) was named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team in women's soccer for the second consecutive season in an announcement made by CoSIDA on October 31.
Mullin has helped backstop the Bears to an 8-6-1 overall record entering crucial games against Yale this weekend. For the season, Mullin has registered one assist and eight shots while starting in all 15 games.
