Three on Women's Lacrosse Team Named to 2006 IWLCA National Academic Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, RI - Three members of the Brown women's lacrosse team are among 141 student-athletes from across the country recognized on the 2006 IWLCA National Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a member of the varsity lacrosse team, must have achieved junior or senior standing academically, and must have achieved a high level of success in the classroom. Brown is also one of 38 teams to earn the 2006 IWLCA National Academic Team Award. This award recognizes those institutions that have achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2005-2006 academic year.

Individuals on the Brown team honored include seniors Raychel Schumacher (Rochester, NY) and Kate Staley (Needham, MA), who also earned the distinction last season, and junior Jen Redd (Towson, MD).
