Women's Lacrosse Announces Class of 2006

PROVIDENCE, RI - Brown University Head women's lacrosse coach Theresa Ingram has announced the class of 2006, who will enter Brown this fall. The class, which is seven people strong, has athletes from five different states, including two from Connecticut and two from New York. The other states represented are Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

From Connecticut, the Bears welcome Jennifer D'Erasmo (Riverside, CT), a product of Greenwich High School and Layla Jafar (Greenwich, CT), who went to Greenwich Academy. From New York, Brown will add Christine Ruby (Chappaqua, NY), a product of the Hackley School, and Meg Sullivan (Garden City, NY), who went to Garden City High School.

Rounding out the Class of 2006 is Ashley Holden (Alexandria, VA), who went to St. Stephen's & St. Agnes, Alexandra Knight (Strafford, PA), a product of Conestoga High School, and Kate Staley (Needham, MA), who went to Needham High School.

With the addition of Virginia, the Brown women's lacrosse team is representative of 14 states, including seven from Massachusetts and six from Maryland.
