Brown Does Not Renew Theresa Ingram's Contract as the Women's Lacrosse Coach

PROVIDENCE, RI - Brown University has announced that the contract of Theresa Ingram, the Bears' head women's lacrosse coach for the last six years, has not been renewed. A national search for her successor will begin immediately.

Ingram posted a 7-8 record (2-5 in the Ivy League) in 2004 and a 35-51 mark (14-28 in the Ivy League) while at Brown. She led the Bears to a 7-7 record and a 4-3 Ivy League mark during her first season, 1999.

Ingram was a standout player at Maryland, graduating in 1994. She came to Brown from Duke, where she was an assistant coach from 1995-1998. She also played with the US National Team for six years.
