Women's Lacrosse Downs Boston College, 13-7

BOSTON, MA - The Brown women's lacrosse team improved to 4-6 on the season on Wednesday afternoon with a 13-7 win over Boston College. Senior Bekah Rottenberg, junior Christine Anneberg, and freshman Kate Staley paced the Bears with three goals and one assist each.

The Bears took a 2-0 lead and never looked back, holding onto a 6-2 lead at the half and a 9-2 lead midway through the second half.

Brown also got goals from sophomore Sarah Passano, junior Emily Blanton, sophomore Kierstan Carlson, and freshman Ashley Holden, who also tallied an assist.

In net for the Bears, sopomore Julia Southard stopped 13 shots. Brown continues action on Saturday, April 19, when they take on Cornell in Ithaca at 1:00 p.m.
