Mastro Selected For IWLCA North-South Senior All-Star Game

GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The IWLCA has announced that Brown women's lacrosse senior, Danielle Mastro, has been selected to play in the 2014 North-South All-Star Game at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 7.  Mastro was named to the Division I North roster and is the Ivy League's sole representative in the North-South game.  132 senior student-athletes from all three divisions were selected to play in three separate contests on June 7, with Mastro's Division I North squad facing off at 11:30 a.m.

The Endicott, New York native finished in a three-way tie atop the Ivy League rankings with 58 points, including career-highs in goals (30) and assists (28).  Mastro's 58 points eclipsed her combined total from the previous three seasons (57) and is the fifth highest single-season scoring output in team history.  Her 28 helpers rank third on the team's single-season assist list, bested by only Lauren Becker (50) in 1986 and Perry Moriearty (32) in 1990.

Mastro is Brown's first representative in the North-South game since Kara Kelly earned the distinction in 2010.
