McDonald Announces Eight-Member Class of 2017

Brown University head women's lacrosse coach Keely McDonald '00 has announced the addition of eight talented newcomers, set to join the Bears this fall. The eight members of the Class of 2017, five of whom were high school All-Americans, represent seven different states with two from California and one each from Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington.

"September can't come soon enough," said McDonald. "We are eager to start working with this driven and tough group of first-year women. After getting to know these women and their families during the recruiting process, we are confident that this group of eight will bring additional athleticism, character and work ethic to our program. I know the returning players are anxious to teach the first-years our style and mission. I look forward to seeing each young woman make her mark for Brown Lacrosse and in the Brown community."
