PROVIDENCE, RI - Brown senior Kaela McGilloway (Sea Cliff, NY) was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending March 25th. McGilloway was instrumental in helping to lead Brown to a 2-0 week, posting 13 points (5g, 8a) in the Bears? wins over Bryant, 17-7, and Stanford, 14-9.
In Tuesday's battle for the Ocean State Cup, McGilloway helped Brown win the game between Rhode Island's Division I programs with seven points (4g, 3a), her second consecutive seven-point game. In Sunday's victory over Stanford, McGilloway tallied six points, scoring her 100th career goal and assisting five others, while matching a career-high for assists in a game. In scoring her 100th career goal, McGilloway became the fifth Brown player all-time and the first since 1998 to reach the milestone.
McGilloway now ranks among the top-five all-time at brown in goals (100, 5th), assists (65, 3rd) and points (165, 2nd). She is one assist shy of her personal-best in assists of 19 with six games remaining in the regular season.
