PROVIDENCE, RI – Following a pair of wins over Columbia (14-6) and at Quinnipiac (16-11), the Brown women's lacrosse team (3-1, 1-0) returns to Ivy action on Saturday, March 12th, when it travels to New Jersey to face 17th-ranked Princeton (2-1, 0-0) in a 1:00 p.m. Ivy contest.

Brown enters the game following Tuesday's win at Quinnipiac in which freshman Bre Hudgins (Syracuse, NY) led seven different goal scorers with a career-high six goals. Juniors Kaela McGilloway (Sea Cliff, NY) and Julia Keller (Concord, MA) both recorded five points on the day, while freshman Erin Roos (Wilmette, IL) and senior Alexa Caldwell (Middletown, DE) both had two points. Junior Isabel Harvey (Baltimore, MD) recorded four saves, while senior Maggie Suprey (South Boston, MA) made one save in relief.
McGilloway leads the Bears in scoring with 19 points (13g, 6a), while Hudgins adds 14 (13g, 1a) and Keller adds 11 (3g, 8a), including a team-high eight assists. McGilloway, who moved into ninth all-time at Brown with her 34th career assist against the Bobcats, needs just one more point to record her 100th career point, which will move her into 14th all-time for career points. Sophomore Sidney Jacobs (Blue Bell, PA) leads Brown with eight ground balls, while Caldwell paces the team with six caused turnovers and freshman Grace Healy (Bellport, NY) leads the Bears with 20 draw controls, 10 of which came against Quinnipiac.
The Tigers are coming off a 19-12 loss at #4 Duke in which they were led by Lizzy Drumm's six-goal outing. Charlotte Davis added three goals, while Jaci Gassaway (1g, 2a), Cassie Pyle (1g, 1a), Sam Ellis (1g, 1a), and Barb Previ (2a) all tallied multiple points. Goalie Erin Tochihara recorded 10 saves in the loss. Drumm is the team leader in goals with eight while Gassaway has six goals, including both game winners, and three assists. Pyle adds eight points and Davis has six. Lindsey deButts and Pyle each have seven ground balls, while deButts leads the team in caused turnovers with four and draw controls with seven.
Brown is in search of its first win over Princeton since the 1991 season when the Bears claimed an 11-6 victory in April of that year. In last season's 16-6 loss to the Tigers, Brown was led by Paris Waterman's (Newark, DE) three goals, while Katelyn Caro scored two and Molly McCarthy added one.
