CAPE COD, MA - The Commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), Phil Buttafuoco, announced that Pointstreak will be the official statistics provider for the ECAC Hockey men's and women's championships. The 2003 JPMorgan Chase Women's Hockey Championship will be held this Saturday and Sunday at Brown's Meehan Auditorium. The Bears will face-off against Harvard in game one of the semifinals starting at noon. Princeton will play Dartmouth in game two of the semifinals at 3 p.m. The winners of both games will compete for the ECAC Championship Title at noon on Sunday. Pointstreak will provide fans with real-time statistics for the semifinals and final of both the men's and women's championships. Statistics for each championship will be available via Pointstreak's Web site (www.pointstreak.com).
Pointstreak uses touch-screen terminals to collect statistical information during hockey games and then uses the Internet to instantly display this information on any Internet-connected computer in the world. For the semifinals and finals of the championships, Pointstreak's system will be broadcasting all of the game statistics in true real-time for media, fans, players and league administrators to view.

The semifinals and final of the 2003 ECAC Hockey Championship, celebrating the 42nd year of the men's hockey tournament, will take place March 21-22 at the Pepsi Arena in Albany, N.Y.
