Women's Ice Hockey's Insalaco, Dreyer Earn ECAC Weekly Honors

Brown produced its second consecutive weekend sweep, defeating Connecticut and Niagara on January 19 and 20, respectively.
Insalaco put an impressive offensive performance, tallying five points on the weekend. In Saturday's contest against Connecticut, Insalaco recorded a goal and an assist, while in Sunday's win over the Purple Eagles, the junior from Rochester tallied two assists. Insalaco has totaled 5-17-22 on the season and ranks second on the team in points. Her assist numbers rank 2nd in the nation for assists per game.
Dreyer got her 6th and 7th victories of the season this weekend. Against Connecticut, she stopped 13 shots. In Sunday's game, she posted 25 saves, to lead the Bears over #5 Niagara. For the season, Dreyer maintains a .925%, and a 1.90 GAA. Her save percentage and winning percentage both rank 3rd in the ECAC, and in both categories, her numbers rank among the top 15 in the nation.
Brown (11-6-1, 6-3-0) returns to action on Saturday January 22, when the team will host the University of New Hampshire.
