With the Bears on power play early in the third period, senior Ashlee Drover (Bay Roberts, NF) fired Brown's first power play shot of the afternoon from the point. Minnesota's Andrea Nichols took a free puck at center ice and skated into the Brown zone on a breakaway looking for the Gopher's third goal, but Stock stone walled Nichols, keeping the score at 2-0 with 15:00 to go in the final period. Minnesota tacked on an insurance goal at the 14:27 mark, pushing the game out of reach of the Bears and sweeping the weekend series.
