Kristy Zamora got the Bears on the board first at the 5:34 mark of the 1st period, when Jess Link won the face off and slipped the puck to Zamora. Zamora fired a shot which hit the left goal post, but the senior co-captain followed and slotted the rebound to make the score 1-0. Link and Katie Lafleur were credited with the assists.

New Hampshire evened the score at 13:46 of the 1st period, when Randi MacMaster tipped in a loose puck in front of Brown's net. Carolyn Gordon and Kira Misikowetz assisted on the Wildcat goal.

Brown regained the lead at 9:42 when Jess Link scored her 10th goal of the season. Kristy Zamora and Kerry Nugent tallied the helpers on Link's goal. Katie Lafleur put the Bears up 3-1 when Kim Insalaco passed her the puck just inside the blue line. Lafleur lined up and drilled it past Wildcat goaltender, Jenn Huggon.

Junior Pam Dreyer recorded 13 saves on the night for the Bears.
