PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The awards and accolades continue to accumulate for second-year goaltender Aubree Moore (Bowie, Md.), as she was named to the Ivy League All-Conference First Team on Thursday. The award was announced just 24 hours after Moore was named as a finalist for the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Year award.
Moore sported a .934 save percentage and a 2.23 goals against average with 142 saves in four Ivy League games, going 1-3-0. On the season she led the team with a 1.98 goals against average and .938 save percentage.
The goalie was one of the main factors in getting the Bears back to the ECAC playoff for the first time since 2006. She is currently third in the country with in save percentage and 11th in goals against average.
Moore is the first Brown Bear to earn Ivy accolades since 2009 when Erica Kromm '11 garnered honorable mention honors and Nicole Stock '09 made the second team. Moore is the first first-teamer for Bruno since Hayley Moore '08 in the 2007-08 season.
