Brown's Mike Harbour Named Among Rhode Island's Top-20 Most Influential Figures In Golf

Providence, Rhode Island - Brown University women's golf coach Mike Harbour has been named among Rhode Island's Top-20 most influential figures in golf as selected by Ocean State Golf.
Harbour, who coached the Bears' women's golf team to the 2005 Central Connecticut Championship, is recognized as one of the top teaching professionals in New England. Considered a top-notch, certified, card-carrying golf guru, Harbour can be found daily at the Buttonhole Teaching Center. Brown's women's golf team is also ranked third nationally for academic excellence by Golf Digest.
Harbour's clientele includes talented luminaries such as Anna Grzebien, the 2005 NCAA Division I individual champion, PGA Tour professional Patrick Sheehan, and George Pirie and Mike Soucy, the last two state amateur champions.
Among those on the Top-20 list include PGA Tour Pro Brad Faxon, CVS CEO Tom Ryan, RIGA Executive Director Joe Sprague, Jr., PGA Tour Pro Billy Andrade, Providence Journal golf writer Paul Kenyon, Senior PGA Tour leading money winner Dana Quigley, and RIGA Hall of Fame member Julie Greene.
