Golfers Place 7th At Princeton Invitational

Princeton, New Jersey - Coach Mike Harbor's women's golf team continued to show improvement with a seventh place finish at the Princeton Invitational at the par 72 Springdale Golf Club. The Bears shot 672, with scores of 331 and 341 in the two-day event captured by Princeton.
The Bears were strong at the top with juniors Blythe Crane (Chelsea, MI) and Tiffany Wade (Alameda, CA) leading the way. Crane shot 83-82-165 to lead the Brown players, while Wade came in just one shot behind at 166 (82-84).
Brown also received a solid tournament from freshman Kendalle Bennett (Warwick, RI), who shot 84-85-169. Also scoring for the Bears were sophomore Betty Snyder (East Longmeadow, MA), who carded 172 (82-89), and freshman Keiko Fukuda (San Francisco, CA) with 86-90-176.
