Bears Place Ninth At Yale Invitational

New Haven, CT - Junior Blythe Crane (Chelsea, MI) shot a two-round 155 to help the Brown women's golf team to a ninth place finish at the Yale Invitational. Brown finished with a two-day 664, behind Princeton (602), Harvard (604), Yale (620), Rollins (625), Georgetown (648), St. John's (651), James Madison (655), Penn (659), and ahead of Dartmouth (669) and Boston University (687).

Crane shot rounds of 80-75 at the par-70 Yale Golf Club to place 10th individually. Junior Tiffany Wade (Alameda, CA) shot a two-day 167 on rounds of 86 and 81 to place 36th, while sophomore Holly Snyder (East Longmeadow, MA) came in at 170 (86, 84) to finish 44th.

Freshman Kendalle Bennett (Warwick, RI) scored a two-day 172 on rounds of 87 and 85, while sophomore Christine Pappas (Sewickley, PA) came in with a two-day 189.

The Bears will complete the fall portion of their schedule at next week's ECAC Championship in Williamsburg, Virginia.
