Princeton, New Jersey - Coach Danielle Griffith's Brown women's golf team earned a ninth place finish at the Princeton Invitational played at the Springdale Country Club. The Bears, with three freshmen in the lineup, finished with a two-day 671 (336, 338), tied with Penn and Siena.
Princeton captured the team title with a two-day 614, followed by Columbia (625), Harvard (632), Georgetown (632), Yale (635), St. John's (645), Lehigh (647), Penn (661), Brown (671), Siena (671), Dartmouth (671), Sacred Heart (683), Southwestern (708), Wagner (723) and Albany (739).
Bears' senior captain Blythe Crane continued her fine play, placing 14th overall with a strong two-day 157 (79-78). Freshman Julia Robinson was Brown's second leading scorer, carding 85-84--164 in the two-day event.
