Bears Place 11th At Princeton Invitational

Princeton, New Jersey - Freshman Heather Arison paced the Bears for the second straight week as the Brown women's golf team placed 11th at the Princeton Invitational, played at the Springdale Golf Club. Brown finished with a two-day 655 on rounds of 330, 325.

Harvard captured the team title with a two-round 613, followed by Princeton (615), St. John's (626), Columbia (627), Rollins (629), Georgetown (631), Siena (638), Penn State (639), Lehigh (644), Albany (654), Brown, Rutgers (657), Sacred Heart (669) and Dartmouth (683).

Arison shot 76 on the second day of play to finish with a two-round 159. Her sister, Carly Arison, came in at 165 for the two days, shooting a final round 85. Sophomore Sarah Guarascio also came in at 165 after a final round 82.

Freshman Megan Tuohy also contributed with a two round 169, after coming in at 85 on Sunday. Sophomore Julia Robinson carded 82 in the second round for a two-round 171.

The Bears will be back in action at the Yale Intercollegiate next Saturday and Sunday, September 27-28.
