Hanover, New Hampshire - The Brown women's golf team earned an eighth place finish at the 17-team Dartmouth Invitational with a two-day 650, shooting rounds of 316 and 326. Harvard took first place honors (599) followed by Columbia (620), St. John's (621), Siena (626), Dartmouth (630), Yale (633), Boston College (642), Brown (650), central Connecticut (655), Hartford (661), Sacred Heart (662), Rutgers (664), Boston University (669), Wellesley (691), Amherst (706), Albany (715) and Mount Holyoke (746).
Junior Blythe Crane (Chelsea, MI) and sophomore Christine Pappas (Sewickley, PA) led the Bears with scores of 156 and 157 respectively. Crane was 16th individually and shot 76-80 on the par-72 Hanover Country Club Course, while Pappas carded 77-80.
Freshman Keiko Fukuda (San Francisco, CA) came in 168 for the Bears, shooting rounds of 80-88. Junior Tiffany Wade (Alameda, CA) shot a two-day 170 (82-88), while freshman Kendalle Bennett (Warwick, RI) shot a two day 178.
