Women's Golfers 5th At Dartmouth Invitational

Coach Mike Harbor's women's golf team opened its season with a fifth place finish in the 18 team Dartmouth Invitational, shooting 328-315-643 in the two-day tournament. Brown's Day 2 team score of 315 was the second best score of the day.

Princeton captured the team title with a two-day 599, followed by Boston College (626), St. John's (641), Dartmouth (641), Brown (642), Harvard (644), Rutgers (648), Fairfield (669), Amherst (676), Boston U. (681), LIU (688), Central Connecticut (696), Albany (700), Mt. Holyoke (722), St. Lawrence (734), Bryant (752), Hartford (758) and Sacred Heart (856).

The Bears were led by junior Amy Behrman, who shot a two-day 158 (82, 76), to place 10th overall. Senior Elizabeth Carpenter (81, 80) and sophomore Elizabeth Thomas (79, 82) were close behind with a two-day total of 161 to finish 17th overall. Junior Jennifer Bley came in with a two-day score of 165 (86, 79), and freshman Elizabeth Fisher carded a two-day 166 (86, 80).
