Bears Second At Dartmouth Triangular

Hatchville, MAss. - Senior captain Blythe Crane shot a two day 163 (81, 82) to help the Brown women's golf team to a second place finish at the three team Dartmouth Triangular at Cape Cod Country Club. Brown finished with scores of 336-330 - 666, placing second behind Harvard (630), and ahead of Dartmouth (689).

The Bears also received excellent performances from freshman Julia Robinson and Sarah Guarascio. Robinson came in with a two-day 164 (81, 83), while Guarascio carded a two-day 166 (84-82).

Also scoring for the Bears was freshman Susan Restrepo, who shot 90-83--173, and sophomore Anita Sekar, who shot a two-day 188 (94, 94). In addition, sophomore Kendalle Bennett played as an individual and posted scores of 92-91-183.

The Bears will be back in action next weekend, traveling to Mamaroneck, New York to compete in the Roar-ee Invitational, hosted by Columbia.
