Bears Place 10th At Hoya Invitational

Leesburg, VA - Playing in its second tournament of the season, the Brown women's golf team placed 10th at the Georgetown Hoya Women's Golf Invitational, held at the Raspberry Falls Golf Club. The Bears shot rounds of 325-333--658 in the two-day tournament.

Junior Blythe Crane (Chelsea, MI) finished in the top 20 once again, shooting a two-day 157 (81, 76) to place 17th individually. Junior Elizabeth Fisher (Washington, DC) continues to show improvement, shooting 168 for the two rounds (78, 90) to finish 47th overall, along with sophomore Holly Snyder (East Longmeadow, MA), who carded shot 85-83--168.

Rounding out the Brown scoring was junior Tiffany Wade (Alameda, CA), who shot 173 for the two rounds (81, 92), and freshman Kendall Bennett (Warwick, RI), who shot 175 overall (91, 84). Sophomore Christine Pappas (Sewickley, PA) (87-89--176) and freshman Keiko Fukuda (San Francisco, CA) (87-91--178) also competed for the Bears, who closed out their 11-day spring trip with the Hoya Invitational.
