Full Ivy League Tournament Results

Jackson, N.J. -  Freshman Brittany Park shot an even par 72 in the opening round of the Ivy League Women's Golf Championship to lead the field individually and help Brown to the first-round lead after 18 holes at the par 72, 6050 yard Metedeconk National Golf Club.


The Bears came in at 307 and lead Harvard (313) by six shots heading into Saturday's second round. Princeton (314), Dartmouth (317), Yale (319), Columbia (320) and Penn (324) will all be chasing the Bears in the final 36 holes.


Park, who will carry a four-shot lead into Saturday's second round, posted nine's of 36-36 to pace the field on a chilly morning. She had two birdies and a double bogy on the front side and a birdie and a bogy on the back nine.


Freshman Naomi Lee came in at 77 for the Bears, while senior Christine Kim, a former Ivy League individual champion, and freshman Winnie McCabe each shot 79.  Junior Elizabeth Doykan finished at 86.


Play will continue over the weekend with 18 holes on Saturday and the final 18 holes on Sunday.
