  • Brown Athletics Honors 2018 Award Winners at 10th Annual Senior Celebration

    Brown University athletics held its 10th Annual Senior Celebration and Awards Luncheon at the Providence Biltmore on Monday with over 275 student-athletes, coaches, staff, and distinguished guests in attendance to celebrate another year of success in competition, in the classroom, and in the community.
  • Brittany Park Named Ivy League W. Golf Rookie of the Year; Danielle Griffiths Named Ivy Coach of the Year

    Brown freshman Brittany Park (Fullerton, CA) has become the first golfer in Brown history to be named Ivy League Women’s Golf Rookie of the Year and head women’s golf coach Danielle Griffiths has been named the Ivy League Coach of the Year in a vote of the Ancient Eight head golf coaches.
  • Li, Park Earn Brown Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

    Men's golf senior Kevin Li and women's golf freshman Brittany Park have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Apr. 16-22, Brown announced on Monday.
  • Brown 3rd At Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship – Park, Lee and Kim earn All-Ivy Honors

    The Brown women’s golf team completed play at the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship and placed third overall with a 54-hole 917 at the par 72, 6050 yard Metedeconk National Golf Club. Freshman Brittany Park finished third individually and earned First Team All-Ivy honors, while both freshman Naomi Lee and senior Christine Kim were named Second Team All-Ivy after finishing seventh and ninth, respectively.
  • Women’s Golf First Heading Into Final Round of Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship

    Heading into Sunday’s final round of the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship, Brown holds a three-shot lead after 36 holes at the par 72, 6050 yard Metedeconk National Golf Club. Bears’ freshman Brittany Park is second individually with a 36-hole 149, trailing by just one shot.
  • Women's Golf Leads Ivy League Championship After Opening Round

    Freshman Brittany Park shot an even par 72 in the opening round of the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship to lead the field individually and help Brown to the first-round lead after 18 holes at the par 72, 6050 yard Metedeconk National Golf Club.
  • Women’s Golf Places 6th at Harvard Invitational

    Escaping the harsh weather of the northeast, Brown competed in the Harvard Invitational in Ospry, Florida, finishing sixth on rounds of 301-317-308—926 at the 54-fole event played at the par 71, 6138 yard Oaks Club – Heron Course.

    Baseball sophomore right-handed pitcher Will Tomlinson and women's golf freshman Naomi Lee have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Mar. 19-25, Brown announced on Monday.
  • Bears 8th At Red Rocks Invitational

    Brown's women's golf team opened its spring trip at the Red Rocks Invitational and placed eighth overall with a 54 hole team score of 947 in the 16 team tournament held at the Oak Creek Country Club.
  • Womens' Golf Wraps-Up Play At Florida Atlantic Winter Warm-up

    Brown's women's golf team shook off the winter rust by playing in the Florida Atlantic Winter Warm-Up at the Osprey Point Golf Club in Boca Raton, FL with Florida Atlantic and Dartmouth. Florida Atlantic posted scores of 305-306--611, and both Brown (306-312) and Dartmouth (308-310) shooting 618.
  • Brown Second At St. John's Women's Intercollegiate

    Brown completed its fall season place finish at the St. John's Women's Intercollegiate, being nosed out by two shots by Quinnipiac in the event held at St. Andrew's Golf Club, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
  • Bears Place 6th At Brown Bear Invitational

    Brown’s women’s golf team earned a sixth place finish at its own Brown Bear Invitational, completing play on Monday with a 36-hile 608 at the Ledgemont Country Club. Seton Hall (569) captured the team title by 34 shots over second place St. John’s (603).
  • Bears Host Brown Bear Fall Invitational

    Brown will host 10 other schools at the Brown Bear Fall Invitational- Sunday- Monday October 15-16 at Ledgemont Country Club. This will be the first event Brown has hosted in the fall at its new home course, Ledgemont CC, the par-71 6100-yard championship golf course in Seekonk, MA.

    Football freshman running back Darius Daies and women’s golf freshman Winabel McCabe have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 25 to Oct. 1, Brown announced on Monday.

    Quinnipiac rallied from an 11 shot first round deficit to overtake the Brown women’s golf team by one shot, 622-623, at the Hartford Fall Invitational at the Gillette Ridge Golf Club.
  • Bears Fourth At Boston College Intercollegiate – Place Two Individuals In Top 10

    Brown’s women’s golf team claimed fourth place at the Boston College Intercollegiate after posting a 54-hole score of 912 at the par 72, 6137 yard Blue Hill Country Club.  Two Brown players – freshman Brittany Park and senior Christine Kim – placed in the Top 10 individually.
  • Sienna Chapman Named Women’s Collegiate Golf All-American Scholar

    The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars have been announced with a total of 952 women’s collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. Sienna Chapman ‘18 (Racine, WI), a second team All-Ivy honoree, was selected from Brown.
