Bears Place 8th At Yale Fall Invitational
Freshman Christine Chim shot a 54-hole 227 to help the Brown women’s golf team to an eighth place finish at the 17 team Yale Fall Invitational, held at the Yale Golf Club. Brown shot 305-312-310—927, while Yale won the team title with a three-round 887 at its home course.

Women’s Golf First at Albany Invitational
Brown’s women’s golf team placed first at the Albany Invitational with a team score of 325 at the par-73, 6,000 yard Albany Country Club. Brown won the title by five shots over Albany (330), while also defeating Niagara (336) and Siena (338).

Women’s Golf 7th At Dartmouth Invitational
Two Brown freshmen – Christine Kim and Sienna Chapman – led the Bears to a seventh place finish at the 36-hole Dartmouth Invitational, played at the Hanover Country Club. The Bears shot 311-323—634 in the 13-team field.

Brown Golfers Named All-American Scholars
Brown women’s golfers Cassandra Carothers ’15 (Jacksonville, OR), Juliette Garay ’16 (La Jolla, CA), Lauren Flynn ’16 (Milton, MA) and Stephanie Hsieh ’15 (Alamo, CA) have been named All-American Scholars for 2013-2014 by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association, joining 664 women’s intercollegiate golfers for Division I, II and III.
