Christine Kim Wins Ivy League Individual Championship, Bears Place 6th Overall
Brown freshman Christine Kim (San Jose, CA) rolled in a two-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to claim the Ivy League Individual Championship at the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship at the par 72, 6,303 yard Saucon Valley Country Club Grace Course. Overall, the Bears finished with a 54-hole 955, finishing sixth.

Bears Tied For Fifth On Day Two of Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship
The Brown women’s golf team is tied for fifth place through 36 holes of the 54-hole Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship held at the par 72, 6,303-yard Saucon Valley Country Club. Playing the Grace Course at Saucon Valley, Brown shot 322 on day two for a team total of 640.

Kim First, Bears Fourth After Opening Round of Ivy Championship
After the first day of competition at the Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship at the par 72, 6,303 yard Saucon Valley Country Club Grace Course, Brown is fourth overall after shooting a 318 team score on a chilly day at the Top 100 course. Freshmen Christine Kim leads the entire 35-player field after shooting 75 in the opening round.

Brown Women’s Golfers Fall To Dartmouth
Brown and Dartmouth met at the Carnegie Abbey Golf Club in Portsmouth, RI, Sunday afternoon with the Big Green coming out on top of a 316-322 decision over the Bears at the par 71, 5885 yard course.

Yale captured the team title, but Brown had a strong showing, placing eighth at the sixth Annual Brown Bears Golf Invitational held at the par-71 Metacomet Country Club Tuesday afternoon.

The opening round of the sixth Annual Brown Bear Invitational is in the books and Brown stands in fifth place after an opening round 310 in the 16 team tournament played at the par-71 Metacomet Country Club.

Women’s Golf Hosts 6th Annual Brown Bear Spring Invitational At Metacomet Country Club
The snow has melted, the greens are open and it’s time for golf to return to the Northeast. Brown’s women’s golf team, which just returned from its spring trip to Kapalua, Hawaii, will host the Sixth Annual Brown Bear Spring Invitational on Sunday and Monday, April 12-13, at the par 71, 5,935-yard Donald Ross designed Metacomet Country Club.

Brown Finishes 14th at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic
Brown escaped the inclement weather of New England and placed 14th at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic with a three-round score of 953 (325-318-310) in its opening tournament of the spring season played at The Bay Course in Kapalua, Hawaii.

Women’s Golf Completes Fall Season At Princeton Invitational
The Brown women’s golf team finished up its 2014 fall season with a 10th place finish at the Princeton Invitational, played at the Springdale Golf Club. The Bears shot 321-320-332—973 in the 54-hole event.

Bears Place 8th At Yale Fall Invitational
Freshman Christine Chim shot a 54-hole 227 to help the Brown women’s golf team to an eighth place finish at the 17 team Yale Fall Invitational, held at the Yale Golf Club. Brown shot 305-312-310—927, while Yale won the team title with a three-round 887 at its home course.

Women’s Golf First at Albany Invitational
Brown’s women’s golf team placed first at the Albany Invitational with a team score of 325 at the par-73, 6,000 yard Albany Country Club. Brown won the title by five shots over Albany (330), while also defeating Niagara (336) and Siena (338).

Women’s Golf 7th At Dartmouth Invitational
Two Brown freshmen – Christine Kim and Sienna Chapman – led the Bears to a seventh place finish at the 36-hole Dartmouth Invitational, played at the Hanover Country Club. The Bears shot 311-323—634 in the 13-team field.

Brown Golfers Named All-American Scholars
Brown women’s golfers Cassandra Carothers ’15 (Jacksonville, OR), Juliette Garay ’16 (La Jolla, CA), Lauren Flynn ’16 (Milton, MA) and Stephanie Hsieh ’15 (Alamo, CA) have been named All-American Scholars for 2013-2014 by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association, joining 664 women’s intercollegiate golfers for Division I, II and III.
